Yaphet is an Austin, Texas-based writer and lawyer who has been commissioned to write for producers and studios, including Walt Disney Pictures. While in law school, Yaphet initiated and self-financed the NYU BLACK FILM REPORT, the first business study of the Black film industry. He has won several writing honors, and he was selected for the Sundance Screenwriters Lab for his screenplay THE SUPERMARVELOUS. LOVE IS A SENSATION is his feature documentary directorial debut.
